Farmers Market – State Vouchers for Senior Citizens:
The program is run by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture and is designed to provide a supplemental source of fresh fruits and/or vegetables for low-income seniors. They define a senior as 62 or older and their income guidelines are as follows: Single- $20,036 and Couples- $26,955. Each eligible senior will receive $15.00 in Farmers’ Market checks, on a first come, first served basis. Please call the West Haven Senior Center for more information, 203-937-3506.
