West Haven’s shore is a place everyone can enjoy - the beaches in West Haven represent twenty five percent of all of the public access beaches in the state of Connecticut.  Once home to the historic Savin Rock Amusement Park, Old Grove Park is a spacious outdoor attraction with an abundance of waterfront walkways, amazing views, places to sit and relax.  There’s  veterans memorials, picnic areas, shoreline birds and – oh yes, the beach.
